Making Money With My Blogs

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

It’s been over a month since I last posted here, and a lot has happened. As my subscribers know, I work a full-time job and experiment with Internet Marketing on the side. As of this post, I’ve been dabbling with ways tomake money online for about 7 months.

About a month ago, I received a call that my company was going out of business. I wish I could say that I decided to not look for a new job and focus full-time on my internet marketing efforts, but that wasn’t realistic. Instead, I poured everything I had into finding a new job. Thankfully, I was able to get a great new job with just a short lapse in work time.

That short lapse in work time was filled with the extra money I’m making from my internet marketing efforts. As some of you know, my earnings have gradually increased and I’m now making about $1,200 each month with very minimal effort. Actually, I didn’t do anything for the past several weeks as I settled into my new full-time job, but my internet marketing earnings continued to accumulate.

Anyway, thanks for checking in. Stay tuned for more updates. I’m currently working on a new membership site called WordPressMoneyMaker.com. The purpose of the site, obviously, is to teach people how to make money with a WordPress blog. As of today, there’s nothing there to look at, but I have big plans for it. I’m dedicated to helping others like me earn some extra cash with Internet Marketing, specifically using WordPress.

Take care!

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

I’ve been reading and studying numerous internet marketing materials, visiting several internet marketing forums, and reading a couple marketing books. Obviously, I’m staying very busy since I’m doing this on top of a full-time job and keeping my wife and children happy.

If there is one thing I’ve learned from all of my studying and IM efforts, it’s this…

Purchasing and Registering A Domain Name

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

You can’t run an internet business without a purchasing a domain name (well, technically you can, but that’s another topic). Choosing a Domain Name

Friday, September 14th, 2007

The first thing any internet marketer needs is a domain name. Setting up a domain is the single most important step of starting an online business. Your domain name is what identifies you on the web, and nobody else can have the same domain name. I’ve researched quite a bit on this topic, and here’s what I’ve learned in a nutshell…

Ways To Make Money Online

Wednesday, September 12th, 2007

Before I started experimenting with ways to make money online, I had a very limited view of the numerous ways of earning an income over the internet. I initially thought the only way to make money online was to find some kind of product and sell it through ebay or start my own internet store. Man, was I wrong.

There are so many ways to make money online. Here is short list:

InternetMarketingLegacy.com - The Journey Begins

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

Today is DAY ONE of my documented journey to learn and master internet marketing. My goal for today, and every day, is to clearly document my experiences with learning how to make money online.

I’ve been studying internet marketing for a little over 3 months… since June 2007. I’ve invested my time and money into just about everything you can imagine:

  • ebooks
  • audio training
  • video training
  • subscription sites
  • Private Label Rights programs
  • pre-built website templates
  • and God only know what else

During this research phase, I decided to jump right in and start making some websites. I currently have 4 or 5 sites which are getting traffic each day (about 11,000 unique visitors last month). I’ll save the details for later posts, so far I’ve made about $500. My only expenses so far have been for web hosting and domain name purchases (which I’ll discuss in later posts).

Here’s a little background about who I am and why I’m doing what I’m doing…
